I am an associate professor at the Department of Economics and Economic History of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona since Fall 1994, after I earned my PhD from the Department of Managerial Economics and Decision Sciences at the Northwestern University. I am also a MOVE Research Fellow since the creation of the institute in 2009.  My main research interests are agent-based computational economics, evolutionary game theory, and models of bounded rationality. I am also interested in socio-ecological systems, computer science, and complexity theory
